Foundation Insights Analyst
The UNM Foundation seeks a Foundation Insights Analyst to play a pivotal role in advancing the fundraising goals of the institution by transforming donor and prospect data into actionable insights. Working closely with fundraising teams and department leadership, this position leverages analytical skills and experience with fundraising databases and business intelligence tools to deliver meaningful insights that support development initiatives and strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate in the buildout, refinement, and adoption of business-intelligence driven reports, dashboards, and tools for multiple teams to strengthen the use of measurable insights in decision-making processes.
- Communicate ideas, processes, and procedures clearly and consistently, including testing, training, and documentation responsibilities.
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree OR associate degree with three years of experience in a related field.
- Effective communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in analyzing data, identifying trends, and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to develop, operate, and maintain complex relational databases (experience with fundraising CRM/databases preferred).
Pay
The expected salary for this position is $58,656 - $61,000. This range is an estimate, and the final salary will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience and qualifications, consideration of any approved geographic salary differential, and alignment with internal equity guidelines.

Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (MST)
- Weekend availability for some positions
