Responsibilities

• Recruiting, engaging, and overseeing prospective foster and adoptive families
• Conducting community outreach
• Managing the approval process based on established standards
• Completing the Child Welfare Core Academy Training Program (for all new employees)
• Extensive travel required; valid driver’s license with insurance necessary; state vehicles provided

Qualifications vary by level, from completing college coursework or experience in child welfare to holding a master’s degree.

Pay

Salary ranges from $37,280.75 to $43,968.62, with additional incentives for those with a master’s degree or on‑call responsibilities.
