A Day in the Life

Supports and assists lead teacher in all aspects of the classroom management and daily schedule.

• Prepares lesson plans on a weekly basis with copies posted in the classroom and turned into the Coordinator.
• Supervises meal times, toileting procedures, and inside/outside activities for children in the classroom.
• Attends all staff meetings, parent conferences (as needed), and ongoing training.
• Cleans and organizes the center as needed.
• Responds to needs, questions, and concerns of parents and children in an effective and timely manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
• Experience in the child development field preferred.
• Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
