Foster Family Evaluation Specialist

About the role

Massachusetts Mentor, a part of the Sevita family, provides Residential and Treatment Foster Care services to youth facing various out-of-home situations. Our personalized programming aims to help youth gain stability, comfort, and confidence to overcome challenges and thrive.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract and retain foster parents.
• Manage the recruitment process for an assigned area, including building a prospect network and conducting informational screening meetings.
• Conduct calls to leads, review applications, and coordinate the approval process.
• Attend networking and marketing events to raise awareness in the community and follow up on referrals.
• Coordinate orientation, home study evaluations, and pre-service orientation sessions.
• Work with internal marketing resources to produce promotional materials.
• Record and report on the effectiveness of recruitment efforts and maintain compliance with funding source requirements.
• Facilitate client match meetings and develop informative activities about company services.
• Participate in the development and implementation of foster parent retention programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, marketing, or business required.
• Three years related experience preferred.
• Current driver’s license, car registration, and auto insurance.
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification as required by state.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task.
• Effective communication skills to manage relationships.
• Self-motivated and collaborative; a team player.

$55,000 per year
