About the role
The Foster Care Certification Specialist is responsible for recruiting, certifying, and training Treatment Foster Care (TFC) Parents.
Responsibilities
- Recruit and retain foster families
- Build community relationships
- Conduct home safety inspections
- Facilitate CPR/First Aid certification
- Develop training curricula
- Manage re-certifications for foster parents
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field
- At least 1 year of experience working with children and families
- Required background clearances
