    Foster Care Case Manager

    Northeast Center for Youth & Families, Inc. has a full-time opening for a Foster Care Case Manager for our Malden area office to provide intensive case management to youths. Some duties will include communication and relationship building with client and all collateral partners connected with each client (schools, funding partners, therapists, agencies, foster homes, etc), setting limits for youth, development of interventions, and setting goals toward individual successes in conjunction with client’s guardians, therapist and other providers. Must participate in on-call services as needed.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in the human service or behavioral science field
    • LSW, LSWA, or license-eligible
    • Familiarity with trauma-informed care
    • Approved CORI & DCF background checks (preformed by the EEC)
    • Approved driving background check
    • Valid driver's license
    • Auto Insurance: It is NCYF's policy for our Therapeutic Mentors to have at minimum: Optional Bodily Injury to Others (coverage part 5 on a Mass Auto policy) limits of $100,000 per person/$300,000 per accident, and Damage to Someone Else's Property (part 4) limits of at least $100,000 on the personal vehicle(s) used to transport clients. Proof of said coverage must be provided to NCYF prior to beginning employment.

    Compensation

    $25.00 per hour

    Since we first opened our doors over 40 years ago, NCYF has been committed to providing innovative, high-quality programs and services to children and their families. We have a long history of doing just that. We serve kids that other organizations won’t and offer a variety of programs to meet the wide-ranging needs of our clients. Our programs have been designed and developed to directly meet the needs of the children and families we serve; all of our staff are trained to provide care that is respectful of an individual’s trauma background, and our residential homes accept children and adolescents with the most difficult issues, not just those with less challenging problems.
