Forward Deployed Engineer (Remote)

What We're Looking For

We are looking for engineers who can own real customer problems and grow fast doing it. You should be comfortable operating where customer ambiguity, quantitative modeling, AI reliability, workflow design, and product abstraction all meet.

The career ladder is defined (FDE to Senior FDE to Principal), promotion follows performance rather than tenure, and compensation is built for outperformance: competitive base, equity, and a tiered performance bonus where top performers can earn up to 35%.

Who You Are

• An architect. You design application patterns that connect platform, customer logic, and data, picking the right level of rigor for the stakes.
• A customer partner. You serve as a trusted advisor to senior customer stakeholders and translate rigor without losing precision.
• A production-AI builder. You think past the happy path. You care how a system behaves when the data is messy, how errors get caught, and how AI holds up when someone else's business runs on it.
• Driven by outcomes. You are competitive, high-ownership, and motivated by impact and upside. You think in terms of the ROI of your work, not just the deliverable.
• A high-standards builder. You hold a high bar for clarity and reliability in domains where approximation isn't enough.

Bonus Points

• Familiarity with the Snowflake AI Data Platform as a strong starting point for architecting data, analytics, and AI workflows, though this is not required.
• Experience designing custom applications in finance, capital markets, enterprise decision systems, or similarly complex domains.
• Experience with optimization, probabilistic systems, simulation engines, or mathematical modeling platforms.
• Experience with formal verification, theorem proving, formal methods, or machine-checkable logic.
• Experience turning bespoke customer systems into reusable product or platform primitives.
• Experience mentoring engineers and raising the bar on technical execution.
