Forward Deployed Engineer (+ Equity) at AI-native enterprise startup

About the role

TechTree is recruiting for a Forward Deployed Engineer on behalf of one of our clients. This role involves end-to-end ownership of customer outcomes and relationships, mapping workflows, improving processes, and deploying agents that deliver significant business impact.

Responsibilities

• Embed with customers from kickoff through go-live and beyond
• Map customer workflows on the platform and prioritize automation and process improvements
• Translate business logic into agent behavior and configure agents against customer systems
• Write integration code and debug live agents in production environments
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with customer stakeholders
• Capture reusable patterns and provide feedback to Product and Engineering teams

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in roles involving real customer environments, preferably AI-native
• Background in forward-deployed engineering, applied AI/ML engineering, or technical consulting
• Hands-on experience with modern AI tools and frameworks
• Strong systems thinking, process design skills, and familiarity with coding languages like SQL, Python, or JS
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus
