Forward Deployed Engineer

About the role

A forward deployed engineer position is available at a cybersecurity and data privacy software company supporting federal agencies. The role is based at Hickam Air Force Base, HI, typically working three days on-site. An active Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Support the deployment and maintenance of secure cloud-based solutions for government customers across AWS and Azure environments.
• Work closely with engineering, product, and security teams to ensure successful deployments.
• Implement and maintain secure infrastructure practices.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Use Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and other relevant tools.
• Write code in Go or Python (optional).

Requirements

An active Secret clearance is required. Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and secure infrastructure practices is preferred. Experience with Go or Python is a plus.
