Forward Deployed Engineer

About the role

Work directly with architect firms in Dallas to understand how they use CAD software and turn that insight into product improvements. Embed with customer teams, identify workflow pain points, customize our AI-CAD solutions, and bridge the gap between what architects need and what we build. This is software engineering, consulting, and customer success rolled into one.

Responsibilities

• Embed with Dallas-area architect firms to understand their CAD workflows
• Identify pain points, inefficiencies, and automation opportunities
• Customize Araeo's AI-CAD solutions for each firm's needs
• Rapidly prototype and iterate solutions on-site with customers
• Build custom integrations connecting Araeo to existing tools
• Translate field insights into product requirements for the team
• Own customer success for deployed solutions

Requirements

• 3-5 years building customer-facing technical solutions
• CAD/BIM knowledge (Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino) or fast learner
• Experience working with AEC professionals or similar technical users
• Full-stack development skills (Python, TypeScript, React)
• Comfortable working independently
• Based in or willing to relocate to Dallas, TX
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical folks
