Forward Deployed Engineer - AI

Job Summary

Cotera is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer out of their New York Office to work with their enterprise team deploying AI agents. The position is full-time and open to US citizens or visa holders.

About the Role

You will be working closely with the enterprise team to deploy AI agents and solve cutting-edge AI problems. You will be involved in various aspects including customer interactions, training sessions, and writing AI-related content.

Responsibilities

• Talking to customers and managing relationships
• Running trainings/webinars
• Writing AI thought pieces for the marketing site
• Working in Cotera daily to help customers and the product team

Requirements

• Early in your career: 1-3 years out of college
• Familiar with AI tools like Claude Code, Perplexity, CLI/MCP tools, workflows (Zapier/n8n)
• Detail-oriented and perfectionist
• Curious and hungry to learn about running a B2B business
• Comfortable spending at least 3 hours a day on the phone

Qualifications

• Technically proficient - you might not know how AI tools work internally, but you use them to code up things
• Willingness to be a founder and learn the ins and outs of running a B2B business

Benefits

The position offers a salary range of $120,000 - $145,000 plus equity.
