Forward Deployed Data Engineer

Responsibilities

• Understand the VoriOS system end to end and interdependencies between the system and its integration components.
• Understand Customer’s needs to define and configure system specifications.
• Configure and maintain data mappings and reconciliation as an integral part of our operations team.
• Work closely with Operations, Product, Engineering teams on how to improve workflows and systems end to end.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in FD/Solutions Engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role, ideally in B2B SaaS or fintech.
• Hybrid skillset — strong backend/data engineering fundamentals + ability to interact directly with customer IT teams.
• Domain awareness — familiarity with unstructured data, ETL processes and ML/OCR pipelines.
• Customer empathy — comfort in troubleshooting messy, high-pressure customer environments.
• Bias for autonomy — capable of managing extraction, ingestion, and pipeline tuning with minimal guidance.
• SQL, Regex and scripting proficiency and willingness to learn new technologies.
