Forward Deployed AI Engineer, West

About the role

This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Partner with enterprise teams to design and implement Generative AI observability programs
• Lead technical discussions translating business needs into scalable tech solutions
• Build custom integrations and workflows to extend platform capabilities
• Manage multiple customer engagements from scoping to delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape implementation strategies and influence product direction
• Define and scale best practices and methodologies for the Forward Deployed Engineering team

Qualifications

• 2-5 years hands-on software development experience, preferably in Python, Java, and TypeScript
• Experience in building MLOps pipelines and deploying Generative AI applications in production
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and with Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong communication skills for engaging with both technical and business stakeholders
• Proven project management abilities, handling multiple client engagements simultaneously
• Adaptable to fast-paced environments and diverse client organizations
• Genuine enthusiasm for AI technologies and staying updated on industry developments

Pay

$125,000 – $175,000 annually
