Forward Deployed AI Engineer (Senior/Principal Level)

About the role

This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. Responsibilities

• Build and prototype AI applications on the company for enterprise use cases
• Partner with strategic customers to drive AI projects from prototype to production
• Advise customers on AI architecture, roadmaps, and deployment
• Codify and standardize successful AI solution patterns
• Serve as a thought leader and mentor to enhance the company’s AI capabilities
• Channel customer feedback to improve AI platform products

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in production-grade systems, 2-4 years in ML systems or GenAI/agentic applications
• Strong software engineering, data engineering, and applied AI/ML skills in full-stack ML applications
• Experience with foundation models, context engineering, and agentic workflows
• Deep understanding of LLMOps/MLOps practices
• Experience in designing scalable AI architectures adhering to enterprise standards
• Ability to engage with technical and executive customer audiences
• High agency and adaptability to fast-moving environments
• Collaborative mindset and passion for mentorship
• BSc/MSc/PhD in a related field or equivalent experience

$198,000 – $247,500 annually
