Forward Deployed AI Engineer

Core Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise AI deployments from discovery and prototyping through production launch and measurable business impact
• Design and build intelligent AI systems leveraging orchestration, tool integrations, memory/state management, and human-in-the-loop workflows
• Develop reliable, scalable systems with strong engineering practices around resilience, monitoring, and safe execution
• Create evaluation, monitoring, and performance frameworks to ensure quality, efficiency, and reliability in production
• Troubleshoot and optimize real-world AI deployments, resolving technical issues and continuously improving system performance
• Partner closely with leadership and engineering teams to influence technical direction, deployment strategy, and product evolution

Requirements

• Experience designing and deploying applied AI or agent-driven systems in production environments
• Background evaluating and improving LLM or AI system performance through testing, monitoring, and iteration
• Strong production engineering mindset with experience debugging, versioning, and supporting scalable systems
• Solid software engineering fundamentals with Python and/or TypeScript, plus API and systems integration experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
• Experience with modern AI/agent frameworks and real-world deployment environments is highly valued
• Familiarity with AI adaptation approaches such as RAG, fine-tuning, routing, or tool-based architectures is a plus
