Fort Lauderdale | Transportation Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Transportation Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to join our growing team. You’ll work on roadway and transportation projects for FDOT, counties, municipalities, and local agencies across South Florida, gaining direct exposure to FDOT pursuits and a strong backlog of established client work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare roadway and transportation design plans
• Assist with geometric roadway design and plan production
• Develop engineering calculations, reports, and project documentation
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and agency partners
• Assist with permitting and project submittals
• Participate in field reviews and site visits as needed
• Support project delivery from design through construction

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• 3–5 years of transportation or roadway engineering experience
• EIT preferred; candidates pursuing PE licensure encouraged
• Experience with Civil 3D, MicroStation, or similar design software
• Familiarity with FDOT standards and specifications
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
