Formulation Support Technician - Mornings - $16.10

About the role

Cleans and sanitizes production and formulation equipment, maintains sanitation areas, and drives forklifts and scissor lifts. Responsibilities include following policies, safety regulations, and procedures, maintaining equipment logs, and participating in meetings and safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Follows all plant policies, safety policies, procedures, and regulations (FDA, FSMA, HACCP, GMP, OSHA, Lock Out Tag Out, Required PPE)
• Uses technological skills to use copiers and software (Microsoft Word, Excel, MasterControl)
• Communicates effectively with supervisors, shifts, and departments
• Maintains and cleans sanitation areas, and hallways
• Participates in meetings, safety programs, personal development, and company improvements
• Ensures proper cleaning procedures are followed for all equipment cleaned in sanitation
• Performs other duties as needed or assigned

Qualifications

• One year or more experience in sanitation environment or equivalent
• One year or more experience driving a forklift safely
• Ability to learn and drive a standup forklift and a scissor lift safely
• Must be able to work with allergens (Milk, Soy and Shellfish)
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
• Problem-solving and working under pressure
• Ability to work independently, efficiently, and accurately with limited supervision
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Willingness to learn, remember, and follow all Plant Policies, Safety Policies, Procedures and Regulations
