About the role

Join our manufacturing team as a Formulation Manufacturing Supervisor (3rd shift), where you'll manage teams in producing pharmaceutical products. You'll maintain operational excellence while ensuring compliance with cGMP standards and FDA regulations. This role combines technical expertise with people leadership to deliver high-quality products that improve healthcare outcomes. You'll coordinate production schedules, oversee manufacturing processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Your leadership will be essential in maintaining quality standards, developing team members, and fostering a culture of safety and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Manage teams in producing pharmaceutical products

Requirements

• Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of experience within a laboratory manufacturing setting
• Preferred Fields of Study: Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or related STEM field
• 2+ years of supervisory/leadership experience required; supervisory experience within a GMP environment preferred
• Strong knowledge of cGMP regulations and FDA requirements
• Expertise in aseptic processing and cleanroom operations
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams
• Experience with batch record review and documentation
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• Excellence in written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and manufacturing systems
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights/weekends as needed
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
• Demonstrated experience in operational excellence and quality improvements
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and environmental monitoring
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Environmental Conditions

• Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
• Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
• Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair, etc. allowed
• No contact lenses allowed; prescriptive glasses will be provided
• Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, etc.)
• Will work with hazardous/toxic materials
• Work schedule: Flex 12 hr shift/nights

Pay

The salary range estimated for this position based in Massachusetts is $83,300.00–$125,000.00. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
