About the Role
As a Formulation Laboratory Technician, you will support the development and evaluation of innovative biological and chemical formulations. Working alongside experienced scientists and cross-functional teams, you will assist with laboratory experiments, analytical testing, formulation preparation, and technology development to help bring new agricultural products from concept to commercialization.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and evaluate biological and chemical formulations using established laboratory procedures.
- Assist with analytical testing and method development to support product performance.
- Operate laboratory equipment, including mixers, blenders, mills, liquid handlers, and other formulation equipment.
- Conduct experiments, collect and analyze data, and document findings in technical reports.
- Collaborate with scientists and cross-functional teams to support research and product development initiatives.
- Assist with technology transfer, manufacturing support, and product scale-up activities.
- Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Support investigations related to product quality and formulation performance.
- Stay current on emerging technologies and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Microbiology, Food Science, Material Science, Plant Pathology, or another related scientific discipline.
- Laboratory experience through industry, internships, research, or academic coursework.
- Knowledge of analytical techniques and formulation development is preferred.
- Experience working with laboratory equipment such as mixers, blenders, mills, liquid handlers, or other analytical instrumentation is a plus.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in research, manufacturing, product development, or engineering.
- Knowledge of formulation science, analytical methods, or product development.
- Experience with biological products, fermentation, or agricultural formulations is a plus.
- Exposure to statistical analysis or laboratory automation is beneficial.

Pay
$22.00–$24.00/hour
Schedule
Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
1-Year Contract with Potential Extension
