Formulation Chemist - Hair Color

Job Summary Join a leading global personal care innovator in Darien, CT as a Chemist! In this key lab-based role, you will drive the development and stability testing of cutting-edge hair color and consumer care products. location: Darien, Connecticut job type: Contract salary: $38 - 40 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Bachelors Responsibilities Safely prepare hair color laboratory batches and conduct product stability testing.Evaluate color performance, documenting and communicating efficacy and stability results accurately.Operate and maintain lab equipment, including pH meters, viscometers, and batching tools.Prepare hair tresses and fill consumer laboratory samples while adhering strictly to cGMP standards.Manage laboratory raw materials, glassware, supplies, and waste disposal.Coordinate with raw material suppliers to support ongoing formulation projects.
