Formation Operator l

Responsibilities

• Place caps onto batteries according to battery type
• Perform the proper function of stacking on/off from conveyors
• Identify all defects prior to filling with acid (1st fill)
• Analyze the correct direction of the batteries during off bearing (understand correct polarity of batteries)
• Demonstrate proper use of table lift during off bearing
• Ensure correct marking on the battery rack to aid Circuit Tender
• Display correct use of PPE
• Maintain general housekeeping
• Maintain all quality requirements and standards
• Maintain all production requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 6 months – 1-year machine operator experience
• Stand-up Lift / Forklift Certification
• Basic computer skills
• Read and understand basic English
• Perform basic math functions (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
• Experience in an assembly/production environment
