About the role

As part of the ICT Warrior Academy, you will contribute to the following areas:

• Learn to use modern Data Center technologies (including Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Ansible) and become familiar with complex network, server, and storage solutions, as well as automation processes.
• Automate Windows and Linux platforms and learn to use system management and monitoring tools.
• Identify and resolve hardware and software faults and performance issues.
• Complete a series of foundational training courses in German focused on networks and servers (some leading to recognized certifications).
• Understand the basics of cybersecurity and how Switzerland protects itself against cyberattacks.
• Co-develop and operate solutions through practical interventions (DevSecOps) to directly apply acquired knowledge.

Requirements

• Completed apprenticeship as an IT specialist (CFC) in platform development, application development, or business IT, with 2 to 3 years of relevant professional experience; equivalent education or professional experience in the field is also acceptable.
• Interest in modern hardware and software systems, with basic knowledge in networks, servers, storage, operating systems (Windows/Unix/Linux), virtualization, scripting, and software development.
• First professional experience in operating (Operations) large, complex IT environments and using system management and monitoring tools is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn, enthusiasm, analytical skills, out-of-the-box thinking, and a passion for teamwork.
