Forklift - sit down

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all safety guidelines, regulations, and company policies.
• Conduct pre-shift inspections of the forklift to ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Load, unload, stack, and arrange materials or products using a forklift.
• Move materials between storage areas, production lines, trucks, or other designated locations.
• Ensure accurate and timely delivery of materials to the required destinations.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by properly documenting materials received, moved, or shipped.
• Conduct periodic inventory counts and report any discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Arrange materials or products in a logical and efficient manner to facilitate easy access and retrieval.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Report any potential hazards or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including materials handled, equipment inspections, and any incidents or accidents that occur during operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a forklift driver or operator.
• Strong knowledge of forklift operations, safety procedures, and maintenance.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
