Forklift Operator - Weekend Shift

About the role

The Forklift Driver plays a critical role in ensuring all inventory is accurately managed and placed in the most efficient locations for optimizing the distribution flow. This role is key to an efficient and effective operation.

Responsibilities

• Accurately put away, count, or replenish products per operational and automated system direction
• Follow Standard Work Instruction properly to mitigate loss
• Partner with or assist Inventory Control to resolve inventory and order issues
• Continue to improve processes ensure accurate and timely delivery of product
• Operate power equipment in a safe and proficient manner
• Afford assistance in slotting changes to optimize picking efficiency and space utilization
• Occasionally assist Facilities with movement of boxes

• Ability to work seasonal mandatory OT as needed and maintain excellent attendance

Education/Experience

• SAP Experience is a bonus
• Prior lift experience is a bonus
• Prior RF Scanner experience is a bonus
• Prior inventory control experience is a bonus
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus

Physical Requirements

• Regularly stand for long periods of time (8-10 hours per shift)
• Must be able to work at heights of 3-4 levels up while picking boxes from locations
• Repetitive movement of the body is required on a regular basis, including reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting
• Lift no less than 15-40 lbs. on a regular basis
• Must be able to tolerate working in a non-climate-controlled environment
