Forklift Operator - Supply
About the role
Receives ingredients and packaging supplies into the factory using the SAP system. Helps control accuracy of dry storage through cycle counts and assists in unloading and supplying the packing lines using factory forklifts.
Responsibilities
- Handles incoming and outgoing shipments, checks seals, and verifies Bills of Lading
- Prints pallet labels and performs inventory transactions via SAP
- Conducts cycle counts
- Liaises with internal staff (supervisors, production, packaging), buyers, spotters, and vendors to address supply issues, prioritize unloading, and resolve discrepancies
- Unloads supply trucks safely, supplies packing lines, collects quality samples for verification, and bales used cardboard
- Assists with factory cleanup and maintains a clean work area per GMP standards
- Supports packaging department with forklift operations
- Performs other supply-related tasks as assigned by supervisors or lead workers
Work environment
Manufacturing environment with potential exposure to loud noises, strong odors, temperature fluctuations, moving machinery, wet or humid conditions, hazardous chemicals, high or confined areas, extreme temperatures, and vibration throughout various facility areas. Regularly engages in prolonged standing, walking, communicating, and sensory tasks, while frequently handling objects, climbing, balancing, and performing physical movements such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Requires use of close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent and 6+ months of experience operating a forklift required, preferably in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to earn forklift certification required
- Maintains a continuous learning mindset and adapts quickly to new equipment, processes, and roles
- Demonstrates strong technical ability with a digital-first approach, embracing new technologies and accurately entering data
- Pays close attention to detail, prioritizing product quality, safety, and accurate record-keeping
- Physically capable of meeting job requirements and consistently brings a positive, team-focused attitude to work
- Demonstrates adaptability, technical proficiency, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills while working independently or collaboratively
- Physically capable of frequent bending and lifting heavy objects (up to 40 pounds)
- Proficiency in safely operating Powered Industrial Vehicles to support workplace operations

Pay
Starting at $26.06 USD hourly + bonus eligibility + hourly pay differential for applicable shifts
