Forklift operator PT

About the role

R+L Carriers has an immediate need for Part-time Forklift Operators at our Little Rock, AR service center. As a Forklift Operator, you will be tasked with moving all different types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53' long. You will be operating a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety standards and follow all company policies and procedures
• Operate a forklift to move freight safely and efficiently
• Read and interpret manifests and interact with a computer display
• Bend, lift, stoop, and perform other physical tasks as required
• Work in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Able to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty
• Ability to read manifests and interact with a computer display
• Forklift experience, including previous experience in a fast-paced environment
• Previous LTL experience preferred

Qualifications

Must be dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Skills

Preferred skills include familiarity with various types of freight and the ability to operate a forklift in a variety of conditions.
