Forklift Operator PT
Starting at $22.33/hr, 2nd shift, part-time, Monday – Friday 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM.
About the Role
R+L Carriers has an immediate need for part-time forklift operators at our West Columbia, SC service center. As a forklift operator, you will move various types of freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53’ long. You will operate a forklift on a roofed but non-climate-controlled dock.
Responsibilities
- Move freight safely in and out of enclosed trailers
- Operate a forklift on a non-climate-controlled dock
- Read manifests and interact with a computer display
Requirements
- Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty
- Ability to read manifests and interact with a computer display
- Forklift experience (preferred in a fast-paced environment)
- Dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Some LTL experience preferred
