Responsibilities
- Check-in truck drivers as part of customer service to ensure shipping on time
- Daily communication with drivers
- Prepare finished product for shipment to customers
- Adhere to performance standards in quality and quantity, including checking for damages and counts
- Follow warehouse receiving and shipping procedures
- Accurately record and store raw materials and finished goods in the warehouse
- Accurately handle and record all corrugated and plastic packaging products from receipt to storage and then to production
- Use scanners for inventory management
- Ensure good housekeeping within the warehouse
- Adhere to all safety practices, including forklift and dock door safety checklists
- Ensure usage of proper PPE
- Communicate any unsafe conditions or behavior
- Adhere to golden safety rules
Performance Metrics
- Number of accidents, near misses, observations of unsafe conditions/behaviors
- Inventory accuracy
- Cycle counting targets
- Warehouse inspection score (safety and housekeeping)
- On-time deliveries
- Correct shipment reports (correct quantity/right time)

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in general warehousing, manufacturing, or distribution preferred
- Experience with forklift/clamp truck machinery preferred
- Safety awareness and quality consciousness
- Basic computer skills
