Roles And Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment to transport materials throughout the facility
- Load, unload, stage, and move raw materials, production components, and finished products
- Supply production lines with materials to maintain efficient workflow and minimize downtime
- Receive, organize, and store incoming materials in designated warehouse locations
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance needs or equipment concerns
- Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies while operating equipment
- Assist with inventory movement, organization, and material tracking
- Work closely with production, warehouse, and shipping teams to ensure timely material delivery
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while supporting 5S initiatives
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production needs and material shortages
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership or supervision
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification upon hire
- Experience safely operating forklifts in a manufacturing, warehouse, or construction environment
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to work independently while supporting team goals
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work throughout the shift
Preferred Experience
- One or more years of forklift operating experience
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Experience handling oversized or heavy construction materials
- Knowledge of warehouse inventory systems and material tracking
- Experience supporting production lines in a fast-paced facility

Physical Requirements And Work Environment
- Frequent speaking, listening, sitting, standing, walking, climbing on and off forklifts, bending, kneeling, crouching, and the use of hands and fingers to operate equipment and handle materials
- Regularly requires lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials weighing 50 pounds or more
- Work is performed in a fast-paced automated manufacturing facility where exposure to moving equipment, machinery, and varying temperatures may occur
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required
