Forklift Operator/Material Handler

About the role

We are seeking entry level and experienced distribution associates, machine operators, and material handlers for 2nd and 3rd shift positions at a Steel Distribution Center in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. Training begins on day shift, with movement to 2nd or 3rd shift after training. Ideal candidates are hard workers with positive attitudes and a readiness to learn; preference is given to candidates with a good work history.

Responsibilities

• Filling and preparing customer orders for shipment
• Picking/packing steel products
• Cutting/altering steel products to meet customer needs
• Operating cranes, forklifts, and process machines
• Lifting up to 75 lbs as needed
• Potential for overtime and evening hours

Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Excellent attendance
• Basic computer and math skills
• Good attitude
• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred, but any candidate with good work history is encouraged to apply
• Background check and drug screen required

Pay

Position starts at $17.00 per hour, with a raise to $19.50 per hour after 90 days.

Schedule

• 1st shift: Monday‑Friday 7:00 AM‑3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: Monday‑Friday 3:00 PM‑11:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: Sunday‑Thursday 11:00 PM‑7:30 AM
