About the role
The Forklift Operator II is responsible for moving, loading, and unloading materials throughout the facility using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Responsibilities
- Fulfill sales requests by pulling vending and cold drink equipment
- Secure outbound loads with proper documentation
- Support trailer loading/unloading following SOPs
- Update SAP/CONA systems
- Conduct safety checks
- Maintain a clean work area
- Assist with yard maintenance
- Operate switchers for trailer maneuvering
Qualifications and Skills
- Forklift, pallet jack, and switcher certifications
- Ability to operate machinery safely
- Follow safety protocols
- Read SOPs
- Complete documentation accurately
- Communicate effectively
- Basic mechanical skills
- Intermediate math skills
Ideal Candidate
Previous logistics experience and understanding of trailer loading strategies are preferred. The ideal candidate must possess strong safety awareness, attention to detail, and adaptability to high and low temperatures and noisy environments.
