Forklift Operator II - 3rd Shift

About the role

The Forklift Operator II handles material movement within the facility using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

Responsibilities

• Pull and prepare vending and cold drink equipment for sales requests.
• Secure outbound loads with proper documentation and protective wrapping.
• Load and unload trailers, ensuring accuracy by updating SAP and other systems.
• Perform safety checks, housekeeping, and equipment staging activities.
• Operate switchers for trailer maneuvering and support yard maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Certifications in forklift, pallet jack, and switcher operation.
• Ability to operate multiple machinery safely and efficiently.
• Basic mechanical skills, proficiency in following SOPs, and intermediate math skills.
• Strong communication skills, high attention to detail, and capacity to manage multiple processes.
• Physical ability to lift over 25 lbs. regularly and work in various environmental conditions.

Skills

Previous logistics experience and knowledge of truck/trailer loading strategies are advantageous.
