Forklift Operator II | 2nd shift

About the role

This is a full-time position in a food manufacturing environment with opportunities for advancement. The role supports popular retail brands such as Red Baron®, Tony's®, and Freschetta® pizza; Mrs. Smith's® and Edwards® desserts; bibigo® and Pagoda® Asian-style snacks.

Responsibilities

• Receive product requests from load sheets and pick pallets of product to be loaded on trailers from storage racks and locate them in the properly designated location in the FWP (forward pick) for distribution.
• Operate equipment in accordance with facility GWP (Good Warehouse Practices) and OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations.
• Operate lift equipment in a safe and appropriate manner ensuring minimal damage to product lift equipment and storage racks.
• Report all malfunctions of high lift stacker/reach truck equipment to supervisor.
• May assist with periodic inventories as necessary within the work area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• 2+ years of related experience

Skills

• Ability to gain and maintain required forklift certification and license
• Satisfactory completion of cart driver training
• Ability to key product/move data into terminals daily
• Ability to operate clean‑up brooms, plastic compactors, forklifts, and carts
• Ability to work in cold/freezing temperatures of 30 °F
• Ability to use WMS and eventually understand and use the SAP ERP system

Pay

Starting pay: $20.00 per hour, with an additional shift differential of $x.xx for hours worked from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Schedule

Shift: 2nd; Hours: 2 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
