Forklift Operator (Forklift) - 1st shift- $16.10/hour

Responsibilities

• Operate various warehouse equipment in accordance with safety guidelines including cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and stretch wrappers.
• Store, maintain, stage and transfer ingredients, components, finished goods and supplies to appropriate work areas while ensuring an accurate inventory by completing system transactions accurately via hand-held RF scanners, and reporting discrepancies to the Inventory Coordinator.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers and stage appropriately in receiving area.
• Maintain proper lot rotation according to FIFO guidelines and coordinate disposal of expired ingredients, returned bulk, and other materials with appropriate department management.
• Maintain warehouse areas in accordance with established Good Manufacturing Practices cleanliness and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass Melaleuca forklift operator certification program.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. regularly and consistently over duration of shift.
• Ability to pull, stretch, bend, and lift regularly and consistently over duration of shift.
• Good written and verbal communication skills across all levels within organization.
• Ability to read, write, and follow established operational procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, etc.).
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment on a prolonged basis while maintaining safety and quality.

Pay

Starting Pay: $18.10/hour and up, depending on experience; (this includes $2 shift differential)

Schedule

(Full-time) Monday-Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm Peak days (4-5 days/month) extended schedule
