About the role
The role involves operating various types of forklifts in a manufacturing environment to transport materials and perform inventory management tasks.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to move heavy materials within the facility.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain equipment.
- Participate in regular training sessions to improve operational skills.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- At least 2 years of forklift operation experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good physical condition with ability to stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious attitude.
Skills
- Forklift operation certification.
- Basic computer skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
