Forklift Operator (Day Shift, $21.50/hr!)

About the role

Safely operate any assigned powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts, stand up order picker/ cherry picker as well as other powered equipment to move product around the distribution center. Accurately process orders in and out of the distribution center. Key relationships include leadership team, operations shift management, and other internal departments. The working location is Indianapolis, IN.

Responsibilities

• Utilize powered equipment, pick and put away product efficiently and accurately, as assigned by supervisor
• Utilize computerized warehouse management systems (WMS) and radio frequency (RF) scanners to process all barcoded products
• Identify and communicate exceptions to the leadership team
• Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Accurately record production by task and complete any necessary paperwork
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Flexibility to train and work in multiple areas
• Work safely and maintain a clean work environment
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to attain an adidas certification to safely operate any assigned powered equipment, including but not limited to: order picker, turret truck, reach truck, powered pallet jack and sit-down forklift
• Basic math skills
• Good communication skills
• Required to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language
• High School diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of six (6) months previous experience operating forklifts
• Regularly required to talk or hear; sit, stand or walk; use fingers, hands, arms and feet to feel
