Forklift Operator - Blue Days (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM)

Based in Rochester, NY, LiDestri employs over 1,000 people across three U.S. locations, maintaining strong partnerships with CPG and retailer brands.

Responsibilities

• Utilize RF scanner guns
• Move, locate, relocate, stack and count inventory
• Follow GMP protocols
• Palletizer - Remove wrapped pallets from palletizer staging area and deliver to correct bay
• Receiving - Unload raw materials from delivery truck and tankers, properly receive and deliver to proper bay
• Accurately and safely deliver pallets of empty containers to depal area
• Depalletizer - Unload glass from delivery truck, accurately and safely deliver pallets of finished product to appropriate kitchen
• Rec/Railcars - Accurately receive any raw product in, load and unload rail cars
• Kitchen - Accurately and safely deliver correct raw materials to appropriate kitchen
• Shipping / Other Warehouses - Relocate pallets throughout warehouse, stage and prep outgoing orders, load outgoing trucks, ensure product is not damaged, load recycling trailers and dumpsters when needed
• Work in a safe manner, consistent with company safety rules and regulations
• Report food safety & quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous experience operating forklift in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to apply computer and communication skills and math functions
• Ability to use hand tools including RF scanner guns
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (bump cap, hair net, ear plugs, beard net (if applicable); Kevlar gloves, safety glasses and leather skid resistant work shoes/boots)
