About the role
Forklift Operator position at the Bridgeport facility (Job ID 850). This role is vital to our Logistics & Supply Chain operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move raw materials, finished goods, and supplies throughout the warehouse and production areas.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage of materials.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while operating machinery.
- Assist with loading and unloading shipments as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production and shipping deadlines.
Requirements
- Valid forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain certification through company-provided training.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, labels, and inventory records.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
