Forklift Operator

About the role

The Mundy Companies, a leader in the industrial maintenance, services, and construction fields, is seeking a Forklift Operator for a long-term position in Spartanburg, SC.

Responsibilities

- Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus - Positions forks, lifting platforms, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials - Unloads and stacks material by raising or lowering lifting device - May inventory material on work floor and supply workers with materials as needed - May load or unload materials onto or off pallets or skids - May lubricate brick, recharge batteries, fill fuel tanks, or replace liquefied gas tanks

Requirements

- Minimum of three (3) years of continuous and current experience as a Forklift Operator in a petrochemical, industrial, or manufacturing environment - Craft certified or able to pass a craft test - Ability to pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen, and other qualifications as required

Qualifications

- High degree of personal safety and environmental awareness - Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement - Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
