Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to lift, weigh, stack, and move 50 lb bags of product, primarily using forklifts or hand dollies.
• Maintain good housekeeping and ensure a safe, efficient work environment in compliance with company policies.
• Operate multiple pieces of equipment including batching mixers, pellet mills, grinders, and grain cleaners.
• Receive ingredients via truck and rail, monitor inventory levels, and manufacture products meeting specifications and HACCP standards.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, climbing, bending, reaching, and working in confined spaces.
• Drive vehicles and equipment as needed for various tasks.

Requirements

• Previous forklift experience is required; warehouse experience is a plus.
• Must wear steel-toed boots; PPE provided by employer.
• Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Comfort working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
