Responsibilities

• Performs manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment and finished products under general supervision.
• Receives goods, verifies items against the record of shipment, and inspects condition.
• Gathers, verifies, and packs items for shipment according to specifications and the transportation method used.
• Records received and shipped items according to established procedures.
• Routes materials, supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Completes written and computerized documentation.

Requirements

• Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Requires at least 1 year related experience.
• Prefer forklift certification (sitdown gas preferred).
• RF Scanner Experience required.
• Knows typical shipping and receiving procedures and can handle some exceptions.
• Requires basic reading, writing and numerical ability.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record may be required.
• Able to operate powered equipment such as forklift or hydraulic jack lift.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay

$20.00 per hour

Schedule

• Full Time
• 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday
• Optional Saturdays during summer
