Forklift Operation
Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move materials, products, and equipment around the operations facility. This includes loading and unloading trucks, transporting materials to designated areas, and positioning materials for processing or storage.
Handling Materials
Handle various types of materials, including metals, plastics, ceramics, glass, and wooden products safely.
Adherence to Regulations
Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations while operating the forklift. This includes wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as ear protection, hard hats, gloves, safety shoes, and safety vests.
Maintenance and Maintenance
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning tasks to keep equipment running properly.
Communication and Collaboration
Maintain effective communication with coworkers and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
Quality Control
Participate in quality control processes to inspect materials and ensure they meet specifications.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds at a time.
Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs, and whole body.
Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and tolerate exposure to the elements.
