Forklift Operator

Role and Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and skid steers safely to transport vehicles and materials.
• Perform daily inspections and ensure work areas are safe, clean, and environmentally compliant.
• Stage vehicles, transport to and from staging and drain shop areas, and check fluids regularly.
• Maintain production flow by multitasking and following safety procedures.
• Assist in maintaining a safe environment for employees and customers.
• Complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision and adhere to safety regulations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience operating loaders or similar equipment preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Manual dexterity, good vision, and motor skills; able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to attend annual retraining and complete safety programs.
• Flexible with shifts and schedules; committed to safety standards.

Physical and Environmental Conditions

• Regular sitting, walking, bending, and stretching.
• Exposure to outdoor weather and minimal chemical hazards.
