Forklift Operator

About the role

Join our team as a Forklift Operator in a food manufacturing environment. You will operate propane-powered forklifts, manage inventory placement, and perform general housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean workspace.

Responsibilities

• Operate propane-powered forklifts safely and efficiently
• Properly store inventory in designated locations
• Use computer systems for inventory management
• Rework damaged pallets with a pallet inverter
• Maintain cleanliness through sweeping, scraping, and other tasks
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Requirements

• Eligibility to work in the US without visa sponsorship
• Minimum age of 18 years old
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written)
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various conditions with PPE
• Capability to work at heights (4 feet and above)
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, kneel, climb, and twist
• Experience with forklift or similar equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior production or manufacturing experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent, or two years of relevant work experience
