Forklift Operator

Job Description

Loading and unloading trucks in our warehouse.
Tracking inventory using our scanning system.
Removing pallets from the production line using a forklift.
Operate palletizers, troubleshoot photo eye sensors, proxies, machine controls, etc.
Perform stocking for palletizers according to standard procedures.
Additional task as assigned.

Requirements

• Prefer individuals with at least 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pass a drug screen and physical
• Must possess a valid driver’s license

Physical Requirements

• Stand on hard surfaces such as concrete for extended periods, up to 12 hours per shift
• Lift and carry materials weighing up to 60 pounds
• Climb stairs, ladders, platforms, and other structures on equipment or buildings to inspect, operate, maintain, or troubleshoot
• Bend at the knees, twist the back, and kneel as needed to access equipment for operation, maintenance, or troubleshooting
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying seasonal temperatures and humidity levels
• Function effectively in areas of high noise while using proper personal protective equipment (PPE)

Pay

• $22.06 an hour with shift differential
• Opportunity to earn $26 an hour within the first year of employment
• Shift: 3rd Shift: Monday-Friday 10:30pm-7:00am
  Night Schedule: M-Th 8:30pm-7:00am
