Forklift Operator
About the role
Great Southern Wood Preserving, Inc., a leading producer of pressure-treated pine under the YellaWood brand, is seeking a Forklift Operator for a full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
- Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transports load to designated area.
- Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
- Inventsories materials on work floor, and supplies workers with materials as needed.
- Keeps record of inventory.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Previous production experience is preferred.
- Lumber experience is a plus!
