Forklift Operator
About the role
The Forklift Operator is responsible for ensuring proper, safe and timely handling of inbound and outbound freight. The role requires maintaining a clean work environment with a focus on protecting the customer's freight from damage through proper handling techniques.
Responsibilities
- Operating multiple types of forklift and various forklift attachments.
- Utilizing forklift to unload trucks and rail cars.
- Properly utilizing RF scanners regarding inventory for warehouse management systems and picking orders.
- Utilizing proper handling techniques to ensure the freight is protected from damage.
- Ensuring all inbound and outbound freight is accurately and efficiently received and shipped daily in accordance with company procedures.
Requirements
Previous Forklift experience. Safety-minded.

Schedule
Full-time: Monday - Friday: 6am - 3pm. Some weekend hours may be required during busy periods.
