Forklift Operator
About the role
We're seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in New Castle, DE. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of materials and products.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and clamp trucks to move, stack, load, and unload materials
- Ensure damage-free stacking of products
- Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service
- Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and warehouse guidelines
- Manage customer requirements and storage logistics
- Cook with departments for effective inventory management
Requirements
- At least 6 months of forklift or warehouse experience (clamp truck experience preferred)
- Ability to obtain and maintain Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification
- Basic math calculations and dimensional counting skills
- Demonstrate proficiency with the English language for new hire training
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe equipment operation
