Forklift Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to transport product to freezer and load trucks with product.
• Complete paperwork for inventory and shipments.
• Monitor and record information gathered from equipment checks and ensure effective utilization of Statistical Process Control (SPC) on the process line.
• Use JDE through transfer, scanning, issuing, and confirming product movement throughout inventory.
• Respond to company or vendor product requirements to ensure a uniform high-quality product.
• Follow all load protocols as required by customers, monitor carrier temperature compliance to precool and set point requirements.
• Ensure product and pallet integrity are maintained and product temperature requirements are met during the shipping process.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and assist other personnel as needed to maintain the same conditions in the shipping area.
• Inform Supervisor of daily issues related to the efficient operation of mechanical systems.
• Attend and participate in meetings, training, and continuing education programs as deemed appropriate by management.
• Perform daily tasks safely as directed by Lead/Manager, ensuring all processes are done correctly and accurately.
