Job Location: Gainesville, GA Job Type: Full Time Shift(s) Available: 1st (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM) Compensation: $25.00/hr Job Overview Join Cargill as a Forklift Operator and help keep production and warehouse operations running safely and efficiently. In this hands-on role, you’ll operate high-skill industrial forklifts and support material flow across the facility while following strict safety and regulatory standards. This position is ideal for an experienced operator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and supporting production teams. What You Will Do Safely operate industrial forklifts and powered industrial equipment to move, store, load, and unload materials within production and warehouse areasHandle irregular, bulky, or palletized materials, including loading trucks and stacking product in high racks or storage locationsSupport production flow by supplying packaging materials, pulling loads from lines, and performing quality checks on wrapping and labelsOperate related equipment such as robotic palletizers, hand trucks, and scanners, and assist with line changeovers as neededReview and complete production shipping and receiving documentation, and enter material movement data into computerized systemsMaintain a clean, organized work area by disposing of waste using compactors or balers, and following all safety and lockout proceduresWilling to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or variable shifts with advance noticeOther duties as assigned What You Will Need Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorshipMust be 18 years or olderAbility to understand and communicate in English, verbal and writtenAble to work indoors and outdoors, including at heights of 4 feet or more, and capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing, bending, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation and while using appropriate PPEBasic computer skills What Will Put You Ahead Experience troubleshooting mechanical components or systemsExperience working in a production or manufacturing environmentPrevious forklift experience Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Drug InsurancePaid Vacation and Holidays401(k) with Cargill Matching ContributionsEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Development Opportunities About Cargill Cargill is a family company committed to providing food and agricultural solutions to nourish the world in a safe, responsible, and sustainable way.
